It has become a tradition for the underclassmen to get gifts for the graduating seniors! My package was basically “lap” material (minus a lap dance. I don’t want one of those… LOL):
Portable Desk Top Mini for your lap! So i can write things on my lap or have my laptop on it so it won’t burn my legs.
"The Amazing Water Clock" It’s a clock that runs completely on water. IT’S SO COOL!
LAP MUG. This is by far my favorite gift of all because the bottom of the mug is v-shaped so you can place it in your lap and if you want to put it on a table you just put it on one of the slanted sides. IT’S SO AWESOME.
I AM TOTALLY USING THESE ITEMS IN COLLEGE<333 THANK YOU SO MUCH :]
Mr. Fox is the best coach, teacher, and mentor in the world, in the world, in the world!
On our last class together we sang Mr. Fox a song. It was Seasons of Love with our own replaced lyrics. I started tearing when we sang this song and Mr. Fox was tearing too. It was such a beautiful moment singing this song for him because we all truly love Mr. Fox.
Mr. Fox has been the best coach, teacher, and mentor to me. He is absolutely inspiring. He has guided me, all of us, to find our passions and his strong values in what is important in life is so admirable. I am so honored to have been his student and his Facebook friend (haha!). Out of all, he is going to be the teacher I miss the most and in my heart, he will always be the 2011 Teacher of the Year. He is someone I will always want to keep in touch with and his wisdom has touched all of us. His worldly wisdom and political views have taught is so much and it is because of him I can continue to move forward with confidence. One of the reasons, I believe in the power of civic education is because of Mr. Fox. Mr. Fox is someone who brings peace and simplicity into my life with snippets of wisdom. It is teachers like Mr. Fox who inspire the next generation.
There is not enough words that can convey how much I want to thank him and how much he means to me as almost a father (or grandfather!). I am going to miss him so much. I will always cherish the memories we have made whether it was through chambers, in class, or ditching 5th period with Jason to have the best conversation with a teacher I have ever had. There is, truly, no other teacher like Mr. Fox.
Five Hundred Forty-Two Thousand Eight Hundred Minutes How can we thank you, for all that you’ve done? How about love? Measure in gov. Seasons of gov It’s time now, to sing out cause our love for you won’t die Let’s celebrate, Remember the year that we’ve spent with Fox! Remember the love!
Lately, a lot of posts have been about the sadness of graduation. It makes me sad. woohoo captain obvious strikes again. Anyway, I digress. It does make me said that high school is ending and there will be people in high school that I will never see again. But I care more about the close friends I have made over these three years at Arcadia. I am somewhat scared of how distances and college life will test our friendship. I don’t want to lose any of them, but I know it will be inevitable. All we can do is try our best to keep in contact with the people that matter. In the end, after a few months, a few years, you’ll know who your really good friends are. It doesn’t matter if you only get to see each other in person 4-5 times a year. You can still be amazing friends.
I want the strength of my close friends with me while I make new friends, new relationships. I won’t forget those who have helped me grow so much.
Thank you so much, my friends. Stay with me always, till the end. My closest friends know how much they mean to me :]
“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark.
In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish and leave only frustration for the life you deserved, but never have been able to reach.
The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.”—Atlas Shrugged (via ronaldmak)
Happy RED ROSES day. To celebrate this I wanted to share with you the new album / piano version of “She Was Mine”. AJ and I wrote this song within hours of knowing eachother. Still blows my mind. Congrats brudda. Today is your day.
What do you do when someone says, "What if you and so and so got married in the future?"
Even jokingly I wouldn’t know what to say not necessarily because I like that person, but because I would actually have to think about it. I mean if it was, “What if you and Ryan Reynolds got married?” In my head I would be like, “Ohhhh snap! That would be pretty awesome even though he’s so much older than me…” But then, if it’s like a close friend or what not I would probably be “weirded” out. I think it would be so strange but then part of me would be thinking, “what if?”
If I could, I would do it all over again with all of you.
I will miss you so much Gov Team Family. I will miss all our chambers and our meetings. I will miss all the times we hang out, watching movies, and having sleepovers. I really wish we spent so much more time together.
Please, please let’s keep in touch with each other.
