Superbowl Sunday Revelations

My friend Jay invited me, Niki, Peter, and Anhkhoa to a Superbowl party today at his uncle’s house in Laguna Nigel. I’ve never been to one before this. The house and area was absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of what my need to study my ass off is for. The house is nearly right by the beach and the view is amazing. We met tons of Jay’s family and he has a lot of cousins around our age which was awesome. I’ve always wanted a family like that. In the future perhaps. It was a strange environment to be in, familiar yet different at the same time. The food was amazing too and the game and commercials awesome! We even had bets with squares and well, I won $50 LOL

And although this whole adventure took a lot of time out of what I could be studying (I perpetually think about that… :<) it was a good change in scenery. It only made me realize more the reason why I need to work so hard, to be able to have that kind of lifestyle when I am older. Not so that I can just laze around all day. I want to just live comfortably and do and buy things when I want/need them. I want to be surrounded by family eating delicious food and laughing about anything. I want to grow old and just travel around to my different children and grandchildren to visit them (Jay’s Grandma is so adorable). There are so many things I want to do and have. Better work my ass off and see if I can get a few lucky breaks. Perhaps winning that $50 is a good sign.
